Institutional Information (About Us)

Description, Purpose and Objective

NOTE

The About Us view in the CMS is the administrative module in charge of managing the main institutional content that is displayed on the public landing page (landing page) of the platform.

The About Us section defines the organizational identity through a representative name, a title or main slogan, an institutional descriptive text and an external link to additional corporate resources.

The objective of this module is to allow an agile and centralized update of the official presentation of the company without requiring modifications to the source code.

Context of Use

This module is used by:

• Content and Communication Managers: To update the value proposition, institutional mission or general description of the organization.
• System Administrators: To adjust the official corporate links presented on the public front page of the portal.

Possible Actions

1. View Current Institutional Information

1. Upon entering the module, a central information card is presented with the data currently published:
   • Name: Official name of the entity or product line.
   • Title: Slogan or main heading visible on the cover.
   • Description: Detailed institutional text (up to 140 characters).
   • Link: External web link configured to expand the information.

2. Modify Institutional Information

1. In the upper right corner of the card, click the edit button (pencil icon).

2. The Edit Form side panel will be displayed with the following fields:
   • Name: Required text field.
   • Title: Required text field.
   • Link: Optional corporate redirect URL.
   • Description: Text area required for the institutional description (maximum 140 characters).

3. Click the "Update" button to apply the changes to the public front page.

4. If you want to discard the modifications without saving, click "Cancel".

Required Technical Permits

• about_us_read: Allows reading and viewing current institutional information.
• about_us_update: Authorizes the modification and update of the text, title and link of the About Us section.
