zymDev Core Framework 🧩 ​

zymDev Core is the technological backbone of our company. It is a proprietary development framework designed to provide a robust, scalable, and efficient foundation upon which all other zymDev products are built (Quattrol 365, PEEC, Flow 365, etc.).

One of the greatest strengths of zymDev Core is its ability to run natively across multiple environments from a single codebase:

🔄 Release Strategy ​

zymDev Core and its associated products operate under a Rolling-Release strategy. This guarantees continuous evolution, where security improvements, new features, and optimizations are integrated continuously yet in a controlled manner.

  • Rolling Release: All products remain up to date with the Core main branch.
  • Patch Releases: Released continuously for minor adjustments and bug fixes.
  • Hotfixes: For critical issues impacting operations, released immediately (ASAP) without waiting for specific dates or sprint cycles.

📅 Development and Stabilization Cycle ​

Our Major and Minor versions follow a bi-weekly sprint cycle. The final delivery takes place on the Monday following the sprint closing week.

❄️ Stabilization Rule (Feature Freeze) ​

To guarantee software quality:

  • The second week of the sprint is exclusively dedicated to stabilization.
  • No new features or enhancements are accepted during this week.
  • Only bug fixes (Bugfixes) resulting from QA testing are applied.

Example Schedule:

  • Friday, January 16: Sprint completion.
  • Monday Jan 12 to Friday Jan 16: Stabilization Week (No new changes accepted).
  • Monday, January 19: Version release (e.g., v4.1.0).
