IMPORTANT
Official Launch of MCP (Model Context Protocol): This release marks the official launch of the MCP suite and integration across all zymDev Core products. It includes a native MCP server, authentication validation via Firebase tokens, OAuth authorization flows, an MCP connection management UI for desktop/remote agents, and tools (MCP Tools) to interact directly with the platform's products.
This minor release (v5.3.0) introduces full Model Context Protocol (MCP) infrastructure to zymDev Core, Firestore security enhancements, installation wizard optimizations, adjustments to Quattrol 365 quality control rules, and advanced support for external authors in Mi Proceso.
🤖 Model Context Protocol (MCP) & Artificial Intelligence
Official MCP Launch in zymDev Core (#1324, #1325, #1339)
- MCP Server and Tools: Deployed native MCP server on Cloud Functions and Docker container for remote connections, exposing zymDev Core capabilities and tools to AI agents.
- Authentication and Security: Added Cloud Function token validation via Firebase for MCP requests, restructured the
api_keyscollection, and patched authentication vulnerabilities. - Authorization and Connection Views: New UI to authorize MCP connections with Midna, along with a dedicated view to generate credentials, connection URLs, and configure desktop agents.

- Firestore Rules: Strictly hardened Firestore security rules to restrict creation and updates of users and roles to authorized personnel only.
- User Validation: Added defensive validations when verifying non-existent users in the database or authentication system.
Installation Wizard (#1347)
- Enhancements and Fixes: Bug fixes and general updates to the Installation Wizard.
Migration and Infrastructure
- Docker and Bun: Migrated
Dockerfileto Bun runtime, removed deprecated scripts, and added a service template for Google Cloud Run deployment. - Navigation Bar (#1340): Refactored navigation component by removing static properties and migrating state management to
Sharedinfo. - GitHub Integration: Adjusted formatting and indentation in GitHub Issues event handlers.

Redesign and Rule Adjustments (#1330, #1331, #1346)
- Multi-Rule and R4s Intra: Redesigned multi-rule evaluator and applied technical adjustments to the R4s Intra rule within the Quattrol 365 quality control module.

External Author and Process Type Management (#1301, #1338)
- External Authors: Identified and resolved external authors across comments and tasks, visually highlighting their origin with UI flags.
- Process Type Seeds: Synchronized process type seeds and implemented handling for unresolved types.
